Why use LiFePO4 battery in a golf cart?

Golf carts need to maintain a certain amount of power and speed on any course terrain, so it is important to choose which battery to use for a golf cart. Compared to traditional lead-acid batteries, lithium-ion batteries are smaller and lighter, which reduce the weight and overall wear of the golf cart. 


The traditional golf cart battery requires a lot of maintenance to improve its shelf life, use Lithium iron phosphate battery in a golf cart, its safety performance and cycle life are incomparable with other materials. Lithium batteries require almost no maintenance because they will not corrode, and there is no trouble checking the level or putting the liquid into the battery.  The cycle life of lithium iron phosphate single battery is more than 2000 times.  Lithium iron phosphate battery uses LiFePO4 as the positive electrode material and has an olivine structure, which can meet the demand of high safety, high capacity, high-power lithium battery, and is called ‘the new era of lithium battery’.


In addition, the lithium iron phosphate battery has the advantages of non-toxicity, environmental protection, stable charge and discharge, good cycle performance, high thermal stability, safety and reliability, it is very suitable for golf carts which have high requirements on battery safety, cycle life and power.
